Speaker Bio:

Leslyn Keith, OTD, CLT-LANA, has a Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy with an emphasis on lymphedema and obesity. Dr. Keith has started four lymphedema therapy programs in California including two in private practice. In addition to treating lymphedema and other lymphatic disorders, she currently researches, consults, and lectures on lymphedema, lipedema, and obesity nationally. She is the author of the book The Ketogenic Solution for Lymphatic Disorders: Lose Weight and Dramatically Reduce Lymphatic Swelling and has written several published articles about the efficacy of a ketogenic diet for lymphatic and fat disorders. Dr. Keith is Director of Research and Board President for The Lipedema Project and an instructor for Klose Training and Consulting.

Kim Radford

Kim graduated in 2004 from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science. She then Certified as an Athletic Therapist in 2005. Kim currently resides in Winnipeg with her husband and two daughters, Chloe and Aria.

In 2004 she began working at Diamond Athletic Medical Supplies Inc. where she expanded her knowledge in home healthcare and orthopedic bracing. She certified as a custom garment fitter in 2008 and has continued to learn and grow in the field of custom garments and lymphedema.

Kim attends many conferences across Canada to maintain and keep current with the ever changing field of lymphedema.

Karen Dobbin

Karen has been a physiotherapist for over 30 years and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist for 11 years. She graduated with her Bachelors of Medical Rehabilitation in Physiotherapy and later her Masters of Science in Rehabilitation from the University of Manitoba. She also completed many post graduate courses and training in acupuncture, cancer rehabilitation, exercise management, myofascial interventions, and advanced lymphedema management. She provides physiotherapy and lymphedema management in private practice and at CancerCare Manitoba. She is also a clinical instructor and senior fieldwork educator for the University of Manitoba College of Rehabilitation Sciences.

In addition to her areas of expertise in musculo-skeletal injuries and conditions, she has a special interest in cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema management. As a 12-year breast cancer survivor, Karen is passionate in helping people gain an optimal quality of life, no matter what their diagnosis, but especially for those recovering from cancer.
